Macau 2010
Macau 2010
Nothing much to do in Macau unless you love the thrill of gambling and the addictive bright lights in casinos. I particularly enjoyed taking photographs of all the pretty things and sights.
So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails.
Let’s go to the Venetian~
The buses around Macau are free if you plan things right. There’s always a bus to go to whatever casino you fancy. If you can’t catch one, you can always walk and cross from one casino hotel to another. Oh and be careful of scammers that greet you once you pass immigration.
I think the most popular destination was The Venetian since it was fairly new when we got there. Other good ones were the City of Dreams and the Grand Lisboa where you can see Stanley Ho’s crazy expensive collections like a bronze horse bust bought at US$8.84 million (crazy, I told you so) and the “Star of Stanley Ho”, the largest cushion-shaped 218.08 carat diamond in the world.
great pictures as usual anne! 🙂
